The Amar Chair is inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement where the way it’s made is not hidden and the crafting skills and charming details are on display for all to see. The seat is hand shaped, and the back steam bent with the angles of the joints and polished brass dowels working to lock the chair together. Slim, tapered legs bring a lightness to this beautifully sculptural chair.

Shown here in Ash, the Amar chair can be made in beech or oak and finished in a natural or whitened oil. The oak version can also be fumed for a darker look.
