A painterly approach and coastal colours often feature in Emily’s work particularly her ‘Coastal & Lake’ collection designed to bring elements from the outside world into the home.

Each multi-faceted piece is individually hand-built in white earthenware and becomes its own painting with marks made that can reflect a particular moment in time. Layers of decorating slips achieve the desired depth of surface before multiple firings to make it truly individual.
