An elegant and colourful lime wood lamp with a cotton reel motif, turned and painted by hand on a traditional Jubilee Union lathe. Bright and also fine multi-coloured stripes, with areas of minimal fine lines breaking up other colourful areas, a bit like a repeat pattern. The base has broader and simpler bands of greys with yellow and red accents. This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table. Using artists’ quality acrylic paints and finished with a natural wax.
