The mattress sits on sturdy beech slats sunk down into the frame, to complement the bed’s low profile and soft corners. Naturalmat’s skilled upholsterers use natural fibres instead of synthetic foam to create the Budleigh’s voluptuous curves. They layer on generous amounts of recycled denim and locally-sourced organic wool to add breathability and comfort to the contemporary design. The 4-piece construction (the headboard, two side rails and an end rail) makes the Budleigh more than capable of squeezing into rooms where access is tight or tricky, and Naturalmat’s own delivery team will do the assembly.

The Budleigh Bed can be covered in a range of house fabrics to include linen, wool, washed linen and velvet or your own choice of material and is available to view and try at Derwent House.
