Winner of the 2025 Living Etc Style Award for Sleep, the Halstock Bed is a homage to the iconic silhouettes of the 1970s, blending the timeless retro charm of its oak plinth with a radiused headboard, scaled down to fit beautifully into any space.

The plinth base, crafted from FSC-certified oak, marries two favourite natural textures – solid wood with soft upholstery. The headboard sits slightly wider than the frame, so you can see its curves all the way around. As with all Naturalmat beds, their team of skilled upholsterers use natural fibres instead of synthetic foam to create the Narrow Halstock’s smooth headboard. They layer on generous amounts of recycled denim and locally-sourced organic wool to add breathability and comfort to the contemporary design.

The Narrow Halstock Bed can be covered in a range of house fabrics to include linen, wool, washed linen and velvet or your own choice of material and is available to view and try at Derwent House.
